Summer Skincare Routine

Hey lovelies! Before we know it, summer is going to be over (*cries*). But before that happens, I wanted to share my summer skincare routine with you and let you know how I’ve been keeping my skin looking beautiful during these wonderfully warm months. You watch my video on my full skincare routine down below or go to the link here.

I didn’t mention it in the video, but one of the things that has been key to keeping my skin so clear these past few months is the fact that I’ve been doing a lot of cooking for myself lately. I’ve stayed away from eating out too much and have refrained from consuming the copious amounts of sugar I tend to eat during the summer months (although I do still have a soft spot for ice cream). It is so important to treat your body just as nicely on the inside as you treat it on the outside. If you’re looking for some inspiration, Aloha, a brand committed to health, happiness, and beauty from the inside out, has a bunch of recipes on their website, which all look amazing. Personally, I’m eyeing the Superfood Mango Lassi Smoothie Bowl.

Let me know what you think of my skincare routine and if you try any of the recipes from Aloha’s website! I love hearing from you guys!

July Favorites!

Hey guys! I hope you’ve had a good Sunday! July has gone by so quickly and now that we’re in August, I’m stressing over all the summer homework I have, college applications, etc. July was busy, but I wasn’t as productive with my time as I wanted to be. August is going to be all about utilizing my time to it’s fullest (I say this now, but who knows if I’ll actually keep with it).

With the end of a month comes a favorites video, which you can or watch down below or here. One thing I forgot to mention as a favorite is Gossip Girl, which I have been absolutely LOVING lately. I am absolutely obsessed and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t start watching it sooner.

You may notice that this video is better quality than my previous videos. I could not figure out why the quality of the video that I was editing was not as high quality when it was put on YouTube. I think I figured it out though and hopefully all the videos I upload in the future are just as high quality.

Let me know down in the comments what YOU have been loving this month!

Watch Me Embarrass Myself In Front of a Camera (aka My First YouTube Video)

Hey guys! I’ve got some very exciting news today. I started a YouTube channel! I’ve been talking about doing this for a while and I finally found the time to do it! And before you think, “Oh, she’s just doing this because everyone else does it.” First of all, let me tell you no, that is not why. Although I do recognize that YouTube (as well the blog world) has an oversaturated market, I decided to start a YouTube channel because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve always wanted to make videos and edit them. I shouldn’t have to explain myself, but I’m going to because I want people to understand where I’m coming from.

On a side note, filming, editing, and uploading this video was kind of a nerve racking experience for me. The video that I uploaded is actually my second attempt at filming this video because I didn’t like how the first one I filmed came out. Then I almost didn’t upload this video because I didn’t like my appearance and I found I was comparing myself to all the other YouTubers out there. And honestly, I’m torn because I want to make my YouTube videos good and I’m trying to figure out if my appearance is part of that.

Anyways, sorry for the long ramble, but please let me know if you have any of the same thoughts or if you think I’m completely crazy. Like I say in my video, I stress about everything. Okay my darlings, have a beautiful wonderful day! Oh and please watch my video if you have a chance and let me know what you think! Okay thanks! Love you guys! Bye!
