Hey guys! How’s your summer going so far? The other day, on one of my first days of summer, a friend and I went on a day trip to a cute little town and did a little bit of exploring. We started off the day by grabbing some breakfast sandwiches and drinks (I got a chai tea latte) at a cute little café. We wandered around the town a bit, bought some touristy stuff, bought some bread (CARBS 4 LYFE #noshame), and took some pictures. Then we grabbed some sodas, headed a little out of town, explored some rocks, and took some more pictures (there was lots of picture taking). Eventually we got hungry, so we headed back into town and got that beauty you see in the last photo. That beauty is a waffle with vanilla ice cream, banana, nutella, coconut, and whipped cream. SO GOOD. After that we were pretty tired out, so we headed home, but it was such a beautiful, perfect day!

What have you been up to? Let me know in the comments!

Despite the freezing temperatures, we had fun, as it was nice to spend some time together. The frost we saw on the ground of the forest was so cool looking. According to my Dad it’s called hoar frost, which I believe is correct. The sunset was absolutely amazing as well. As you can see from above, it looked like the trees were on fire. Days like this remind me how much I love hiking. It’s a bit too cold to go in the winter time (I basically had to run to keep myself warm), but I’m definitely adding hiking to my summer bucket list.

How did you spend New Years Day?
