Of course, this is only one girl’s opinion.
I write this to you at 11:45 at night after spending an hour and fifteen minutes trying to sleep. That will teach me not to drink tea after 4pm. Sitting in front of computer is probably not going to help me sleep any better, but please enjoy my late night ramblings.
Oh my gosh Lady Gaga. What a classic. This all black number with the sweetheart neckline, it’s so simple, but it takes my breath away.
J. Law looking flawless as always. Jenna Dewan Tatum. Wow. I’m a sucker for royal blue, sparkly dresses that look like ball gowns.
Lily James looks like a freaking Greek goddess in that dress. I love how it’s so wispy and has that asymmetrical part to it.
Gotta love those sparkles and sleeves. So classic. You go Uzo Aduba.
Gina Rodriguez, you are my idol. I love this blue, off the shoulder dress. It’s such a pretty color and I love the full skirt.
What was your favorite Golden Globes look?
HEY! I know you just heard from me yesterday, but I thought we’d continue with the New Year’s festivities and look at my favorite posts from 2015. New Years is a bloggers dream with all those opportunities to talk about what we want to do in the future and link back to all those posts we worked so hard on. But I digress.
I started off 2015 with a post about my family’s New Year’s day hike. That was a really fun day and it was nice to be able to spend time with my family. I really liked how the photos I took turned out as well.
I was really proud of this post about the Burt’s Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser mostly because of the photo that I took to go with it. It was the first photo I had taken that felt “blogger-esque” to me. Also, I love that cleanser.
We continue our journey in New Mexico. I took a trip there in February and absolutely loved it. I took so many photos of the amazing nature and sunsets that I saw. It was just a really great trip and I felt so inspired while I was there. You can read about that four day adventure here, here, here, and here.
I was so so proud of my Almond Joy Overnight Oats post. I loved how the photos turned out and was so proud of the recipe I created. Definitely my favorite post of 2015.
In my Small Town Adventures post I talked about one of the first days of summer and it was probably one of my favorite days of 2015. There was no school work to worry about and there was lots of delicious food eating and it was just great. Also, I actually was able to be in the photos of a blogpost so that was great too!
Which post from 2015 did you enjoy the most?
Hey guys! Long time no see! Where has 2015 gone? It feels like just the other day that I was writing my hopes for 2015 blogpost! I thought this would be a perfect time to reflect on what I wanted to happen last year and write about my hopes for the future.
Hopes for 2015:
- Be more active: I have a vívofit (similar to a Fitbit) and it has a very cool feature where it automatically sets a steps goal for you, depending on how many steps you took the day before, gradually trying to get you to be more active. I did a great job of keeping up with the goals for the first month or so. Then…I gave up. So nope, I didn’t achieve this goal.
- Cook/bake something once a week: Nope, didn’t happen.
- DON’T PROCRASTINATE: I didn’t do a very good job of this until the beginning of the school year (September). When school started I was so on top of everything! I felt super proud of myself. Hopefully I can continue with those good habits this year.
- Start a YouTube channel: DONE! Check it out here.
For 2016, I plan on setting myself a small goal every month. That way, I hope to make one goal a habit before I move concentrate on the next one. My goal for January is to meditate everyday. I’ll let you know in February how I did. 😝
I also just wanted to take a moment and thank all of those who read and comment on my blog. Your support means the world to me. ❤ I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging for 2 years already! Here’s to the best year yet!
