Ed Sheeran Concert

Version 2 Version 2 Version 2 IMG_2672 Version 2 IMG_2699 Version 2 Version 2 Version 2 Version 2 IMG_2789This concert was absolutely amazing. Ed Sheeran absolutely KILLED IT on stage. Probably one of the best (if not THE BEST) concerts I’ve ever been to. We got there relatively early so there was a lot of waiting around, but we used that time to buy merchandise and such. The concert started just as the sun was setting. Foy Vance opened for Ed Sheeran and he was pretty good – definitely my kind of music. You know that music where you just stare out the window as the rain is pouring down and daydream to? Yeah that kind. Then Ed Sheeran came on stage and was absolutely amazing. When he rapped, oh my goodness, it was awesome.

Getting out of there was crazy. There were cars everywhere. So me and my friend got pizza and Doritos from a gas station with our remaining money. Yeah, it was a fun night. Other highlights of the night included getting free ice cream (TWICE!).

A Little Reminder

Version 3

Hello wonderful people! Today doesn’t seem very summery as it so rainy, windy, and cold. But I love days like this because we get the fire going and inside is so cozy. That’s not what this post is about though. Today I just wanted to share a little wisdom that you’ve probably already heard a thousand times, but, hey, it never hurts to reiterate it!

Guys, if you’re at good point in your life, and you’re enjoying it, don’t waste that happy time by planning out things that come next. I’m not saying don’t plan at all because planning is definitely a helpful thing, but don’t let planning take away from what is currently happening in your life. You’ll end up being disappointed about missing some wonderful things. Live your life and enjoy the moment. That is all.

Thank you for listening (took me awhile to spell that word) to my endless ramblings. Let me know your thoughts in the comments and if you have any words of wisdom to share. LOVE YOU ALL.

Hey guys! How’s your summer going so far? The other day, on one of my first days of summer, a friend and I went on a day trip to a cute little town and did a little bit of exploring. We started off the day by grabbing some breakfast sandwiches and drinks (I got a chai tea latte) at a cute little café. We wandered around the town a bit, bought some touristy stuff, bought some bread (CARBS 4 LYFE #noshame), and took some pictures. Then we grabbed some sodas, headed a little out of town, explored some rocks, and took some more pictures (there was lots of picture taking). Eventually we got hungry, so we headed back into town and got that beauty you see in the last photo. That beauty is a waffle with vanilla ice cream, banana, nutella, coconut, and whipped cream. SO GOOD. After that we were pretty tired out, so we headed home, but it was such a beautiful, perfect day!

June Birchbox

June Birchbox June Birchbox

Real Chemistry // Luminous 3-Minute Peel (Full Size $48 | Sample Size $4.80): I’ve used this once already and it’s very interesting. It’s not a mask, although that’s what I thought when I first pulled it out of my Birchbox. After you cleanse your face, you leave your skin and your hands slightly damp. Then you quickly spread the gel all over your face and massage your face for about 3 minutes. The dead skin forms little clumps and you wash those right off after your done. It’s a very interesting product, but I’ll have to try it more to see if it actually makes a difference.

Klorane // Shampoo with Mango Butter (Full Size $19.50 | Sample Size $1.16) and Klorane // Conditioning Balm with Mango Butter (Full Size $16 | Sample Size $1.07): These products are supposed to help dry hair, which is something I’m really struggling with at the moment, so this should be perfect! Plus, I love the smell of mango.

COOLA // SPF 50 Sport – Mango (Full Size $32 | Sample Size $3.20): Now that the sun is out a lot more, sunscreen is essential, especially for a pale person like me. This will be perfect for popping into my handbag! And it smells like mango as well so, yay!

Pura Vida // Lace Headband (Pack of 8 $18 | Sample Size $2.25): Honestly, I’m not really much of a headband person, but this is really cute and I’m excited to try it out!

Dr. Jart+ // Ceramidin Cream (Full Size $48 | Sample Size $4.80): This doesn’t exactly seem like the product for me, especially at this time of year. It’s supposed to be for dry skin, a problem I tend not to have during the summer. However, it smells amazing! (It either smells like lavender or roses; I’m not great with scents so I’m not entirely sure.)

Marcelle // Waterproof Eyeliner (Full Size $11 | Sample Size $7.33): I love when Birchbox sends me deep purple eyeliners and I want to try this smudged plum lash lines look that Birchbox has on their website.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this month’s Birchbox, especially after being so disappointed with last month’s.

What did you think of this Birchbox? Have you tried any of these products?

The Duff Review

This movie was absolutely hilarious. You know those movies where everything funny about the movie is shown in the trailer? Well this was not that. I honestly was laughing my head off the whole movie. It wasn’t just a stupid comedy movie either. It had a nice message about embracing who you are and touched on the idea that people can’t hurt you if you don’t let what they say affect you. It was just a really great movie and I think you should go watch it right now.

Have you seen this movie? What did you think?

May Birchbox

Wow, I haven’t posted one of these in forever! Like I said before, these past few months have been CRAZY. (A good kind of crazy though.) Now that things are winding down a bit though, I thought I would take a moment to do some of the stuff I have been missing, like blogging!Version 2I honestly haven’t been that impressed with the stuff I’ve received in my Birchbox lately. Last month I received two products I’ve received already in other Birchboxes (different shades and scents, but still). This one wasn’t bad. It could have been better, but it was definitely better than last month’s so I’m not complaining.

Aruba Aloe // Luxe Foot Cream (Full Size $18 | Sample Size $9): I am not a fan of putting lotion on my feet. It’s like sleeping with socks on. It just feels so confining. I’ll try to give this product a chance though. Either that, or I’ll give it to my mom.

CoTZ® // Flawless Complexion SPF 50 (Full Size $20 | Sample Size $1.44): I feel like I have a billion of these BB cream sunscreens from Birchbox (okay maybe only 3 or 4). This will definitely be getting a lot of use though over the next few months, especially since I spend all day in the sun for my job.

Marcelle // Clay Mask (Full Size $15 | Sample Size $2.23): I love a good clay mask. I’ve already tried this product once and it’s really interesting. It goes on clear, which is interesting because when it says “clay mask” I expect to see some clay. My first impressions were good though; it left my skin all nice and glowy.

Prescriptives // False Eyelashes Plush Mascara (Full Size $23 | Sample Size $5.91): I’ve tried this a couple times and I’m actually relatively impressed! Trying new mascaras always feels like a disappointment to me because they always end up being all the same and not really doing what I want them to do. This one does a pretty good job of separating the lashes though and making them look a lot fuller. However, it doesn’t do a great job of holding a curl.

Harvey Prince // Sea Salt Texturizing Mist (Full Size $22 | Sample Size $0.99): I haven’t tried this product out at all yet because sea salt sprays tend to make my hair feel really gross, but this is by a nicer brand so I’m interested to see how it makes my hair look and feel!

Again, not so impressed with this Birchbox, but it wasn’t too bad.
