Mask of Magnaminty – I want this Lush mask because it’s from Lush and someone said it was nice and it’s from Lush. Enough said.
Forever 21 Tote – I LOVE BAGS. THIS BAG IS CHEAP AND AWESOME CAN I HAVE IT THANKS BYE.
Lulu’s Coral Maxi Dress – I thought this dress was beautiful and just perfect for spring. Plus it has lace detailing and who doesn’t love lace detailing?
ModCloth Stylish Idealist Dress – I love the way this dress fits and although it’s a little more orangey than I would normally go for, I think it would be amazing to wear. If I added a belt… Ugh, I’m just making myself want it more!
Birds Print Flare Dress – Now I’m normally not into animals being printed on my clothing–oh, wait I take that back I have a bunny sweater and a panda sweater. Anyways, I thought this dress was just really beautiful and it’s also only $24 so I might buy it. Bye bye money…
ModCloth Flamingo Maxi Dress – This maxi dress has flamingos on it!!!!!!!!!! (Sorry for the overuse of exclamation points. Also, apparently I have a thing for animals being on my clothing. Who knew.) Wait, I’m crying because I just looked at the MothCloth website and the dress isn’t available anymore. WAHHHHHH!
Okay so basically if you read this post you should think I’m crazy now and this is because I’m tired and really hungry because I didn’t eat dinner and okay I’m going to go now…
Which items would you like to add to your wish list?
I’ve been looking for a new mascara and these are all the mascaras that were recommended to me on the #bblogger chat the other night. I’d really like to try to the Rimmel Lash Accelerator, but I’d like to see what you guys think. I’d really prefer to buy a cheaper mascara rather than a more expensive one, but if you guys think that there is a higher end mascara that’s really worth it, I’d love to know!
I got Polyvore a while ago (okay it was only two years ago) and I haven’t been on there that much since I first got it, but I thought I would use it to start making collages for my blog again. ANYWAYS, I found some old sets I made from a while back and I just had to laugh at myself. I don’t know what I was thinking when I made these…
Those vertical stripes are just making my head spin…
Prom Zilla? I don’t even know…
I’m actually pretty proud of my younger self. This collage is pretty impressive. Apparently I was obsessed with Glee though. That is not the case anymore, let me assure you.
Positivity has always been a hard thing for me to come by. I often point out all the negative things in my life. This always ends in lots of crying and eating a whole container of Nutella (no shame). There is a way to fix this though! Start by writing down the positive things in your life, the little things that make you happy. Whether it’s as small as getting Starbucks or as big as winning American Idol (I wish), write it down. Then when you’re feeling down about something, just bring out your list and make yourself happy again! Yay! We can all be happy together!
So…while I was writing this I realized that Cliona wrote a very similar post on her blog. So go check that out here. I promise I did not copy you Cliona! I just was very inspired by the spring-ness of today! Also, sorry for the cheesy picture, but I hope it made you smile! 🙂
This last week has been absolutely wonderful. As you can see from the barrage of posts, I’ve been in London for my spring break. I absolutely loved it and I can’t wait to go back soon! Anyways, I watched a lot of movies on the flights there and back (no sleep for me!) and I wanted to share with you some of the ones I watched.
Thor: The Dark World – Not as good as it could have been, but there was a lot of action so I enjoyed that. MAJOR bonus points for the very end of the movie where you find out something very that makes you go: WAIT WHAT. WHAT JUST HAPPENED. SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT JUST HAPPENED. This movie is worth seeing if you’ve seen the first one.
American Hustle – I liked this movie. The costumes were amazing and the acting good. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the plot line, but it was okay.
Frozen – This was actually the second or third time I’ve watched this movie. I love it so much. I love the music, I love the characters, I love the jokes. It’s just an amazing movie. If you haven’t seen it yet drop everything and go watch it right now.
The Wolf of Wall Street – Ehhhh… Not so impressed with this movie. It has its funny parts, but I got bored in the middle of it and started playing 2048. I beat it by the way, if anyone cares.
Gravity – I now understand why this movie has won so many awards.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty – I really liked this movie. It made me feel inspired and it made me want to have an adventure. Watching this movie made me realize some things about my own life too. Although everyone is always telling me this, I finally realized that if I’m doing something with my time that isn’t making me happy, then it really isn’t worth it.
What good movies have you guys been watching lately?
We haven’t done anything that exciting these past couple of days. We went to Harrod’s and wandered down Oxford Street, but we didn’t spend much time there. There was a Boots and Body Shop run where lots of money was spent (whoops!). Be on the lookout for a haul in the next couple of days. One place in particular that I enjoyed going to was the Windsor Castle Pub. The character of the place was great and the food was delicious and beautifully presented (well more beautifully than I was expecting at least). It is definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been there before. We also had some very lovely tea and scones at Café Concerto the other day as well. This brings us to the end of our vacation, but all and all it has been quite a lovely trip. Oh and if anybody knows where to find these lovely teapots below I would be much obliged. Aren’t they cute?
Isn't the character of the Windsor Castle Pub just great?
This was quite the busy day. We got out of the flat at a reasonable time and headed over to Westminster Abbey. On our way there we passed by Buckingham Palace and I caught a glimpse of the changing of the guard in front of a nearby building. Eventually we got to Westminster Abbey and walked through it. Then we walked past Big Ben and got in line to buy tickets for the London Eye. We waited for SUCH a long time, but eventually we got our tickets and once we had, we headed off to find lunch. We went in a little bit of a circle, but eventually we found a place called Slug and Lettuce. Once we were full of food, we got into the line to actually get into the Eye. The wait was not as bad as I expected. It was only about half an hour. The views from the Eye were amazing. It was worth the amount of waiting around that we had to do. This was probably my favorite day that I spent around London.
